Bike Donation & Repair
People donate used bikes, BMX bikes, parts, helmets, and tools. Volunteers and youth fix them up together, then we give them to youth who need one.
Youth cycling β’ Lower Mainland, BC
Ride Forward BC gives youth access to bikes, skills, mentorship, and a community to belong to β through after-school riding, summer programs, bike repair, and neighbourhood cleanup programs across the Lower Mainland.
Four simple programs that turn donated bikes into real opportunity for young people.

Supervised sessions during the school year and summer where youth learn safe riding, BMX basics, group riding, confidence, and fitness. Beginner-friendly and structured.
Hands-on skills: fixing flats, adjusting brakes, tuning gears, and safety checks. A first step toward trades, shop work, or volunteer leadership.
Youth ride as a group to parks, trails, and skateparks and clean them up. Good for the neighbourhood β and a real sense of giving back.
Three simple steps, from a bike in a garage to a young person riding forward.
Neighbours, schools, and bike shops donate bikes and parts they no longer use.
With volunteer mentors, youth repair the bikes and learn how they work along the way.
Bikes go to youth who need them. Riders join group rides, build skills, and give back.
To give youth in the Lower Mainland access to bicycles, bike repair education, safe riding programs, mentorship, and community service opportunities.
We collect, repair, and redistribute bicycles to young people while running after-school riding and mechanic programs. Youth learn to ride safely, maintain their own bikes, build confidence, join a positive community, and give back through local cleanup projects.
Ride Forward BC is being established as a non-profit society under the B.C. Societies Act.

Our regular youth programs are open to participants ages 10β17. Participants may be grouped by age, ability, and riding experience to ensure safety and appropriate instruction. Youth under 10 may participate only in designated family events with a parent or guardian present. All participants require parent/guardian consent, emergency contact information, and a signed program waiver.
Because our programs are for minors, safety is built into everything we do.
Every dollar and every donated bike goes directly toward youth programs β not profit. Your support keeps bikes rolling and kids riding.
We are working toward registered charity status so we can issue tax receipts in the future.
Want to donate, volunteer, partner, or enrol a young rider? We'd love to hear from you.
